AT THE LAKEVIEW AMPHITHEATER

 

TICKETING

The Lakeview Amphitheater follows the 2010 ADA guidelines regarding the sale of accessible seating. Patrons requiring special seating accommodations must request them at the time of purchase. Patrons may purchase up to 3 companion seats adjacent to their accessible seat, if available. Due to ticketing procedures, only Row T (100 level) and Row Q (200 level) ticket holders and their ticketed companions can be accommodated in these ticketed rows. These rows are wheelchair accessible.  Note: Wheelchair spaces are 36” wide.

 

Tickets for unsold accessible seating may be released for sale to individuals without disabilities:

  • When all non-accessible tickets have been sold;
  • When all non-accessible tickets in a designated seating area have been sold and the tickets for accessible seating are being released in the same designated area; or
  • When all non-accessible tickets in a designated price category have been sold and the tickets for accessible seating are being released within the same designated price category.

 

PARKING

Designated accessible parking for persons with disabilities is available in the Orange Lot, closest to the main entrance of the Lakeview Amphitheater.  When applicable for larger shows, the Brown Lot will also be available for accessible parking with shuttle service to the main gate.  Law Enforcement will direct you accordingly upon exiting the highway.

 

A valid, appropriate disability placard or license plate is required to park in a space identified as reserved for persons with disabilities. The person that the registration of the accessible parking hang-tag or license belongs to must be in the vehicle and identification is required. Guests should arrive as early as possible to ensure space availability and to reach their seats prior to show time. All parking is ‘first come, first served’.  Typically, amphitheater gates open 90 minutes prior to the advertised event time; parking lots open three hours prior to the advertised event time.

 

Guests that require being dropped-off and/or picked-up may do so in the Orange Lot.  For pickup, drivers must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the end of performances otherwise vehicles may be directed to the pink lot for pick up due to high levels of exiting traffic.

 

ACCESSIBLE SHUTTLE

The Lakeview Amphitheater operates shuttle vehicles to transport guests with disabilities or mobility impairments from the accessible parking areas near the main gate to pavilion seating areas. Shuttles begin 30 minutes prior to the advertised door time and end after the conclusion of the show when all those that need it are returned to their vehicles.

 

If parking in the Brown Lot for larger shows, shuttle buses will bring guests with disabilities from the Pink Lot Shuttle Pick-Up/Drop Off area to the Main Gate to catch an internal shuttle to the pavilion seating area.

 

RESTROOMS

Accessible restrooms are available on the East Lawn. At the top of the amphitheater lawn, accessible porta-jons are available.

 

SERVICE ANIMALS

Service animals are permitted and admitted into the amphitheater. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained.

 

CONCESSIONS AND MERCHANDISE

Concession & merchandise stands are accessible and are indicated on the map. The widest array of options is available on the East Lawn, near the restroom facilities.

 

HEARING DEVICES AND INTERPRETERS

Hearing devices are available for seats within the pavilion.  They may be signed out for shows from the Guest Services tent on the East Lawn.   Interpreters are available upon request per show.  Requests must be submitted at least 2 business days prior to the show date.  Please submit interpreter request through our Contact Us page.

 

PARKING PRIVILEGES VIOLATION 

Parking is not allowed in any access aisles. Management reserves the right to take appropriate action regarding misrepresentation of parking privileges which may include ticketing and towing cars at owner’s expense, reporting of misuse of handicapped plate/tag to New York State Department of Motor Vehicles for possible revocation of parking privileges and/or criminal charges.
