Keith Urban has just announced a sprawling world tour, which will take him through 45 cities in North America in support of his forthcoming ninth studio album, RipCORD. While the album has no release date yet, the country singer has already released two new songs, “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” and “Break on Me.” In an interview with Billboard, Urban added that there are more, still unannounced dates in the works, justifying the “Ripcord World Tour” moniker.

“Initially we’re just going to get to Canada and Australia, but I think hopefully we’ll be able to extend out,” he said. “I’d love to get back to Europe. It’s been a little while since we played there.”

When I wrote “My Church,” I wasn’t looking this far ahead. It was a song I loved and all I wanted to do was play it. Never would I have imagined shooting a video for it just a short several months later. Filming it in Texas was so important to me because I couldn’t imagine a better setting for the message of this song. It is my home and still the biggest chapter in my story. Even though I hang my hat in Tennessee, this video is my love letter to Texas.

Brett Eldredge moved to Nashville for one reason – to be a singer. “All I’ve ever wanted to do is sing,” said an elated Eldredge after learning he had received two ACM nominations, including New Male Vocalist and the highly coveted Male Vocalist of the Year categories.

“I went to college at MTSU and would drive back and forth to Nashville and play at the Holiday Inn Commodore Lounge or songwriters nights, just any place where I could sing,” says Eldredge. “I live to sing and entertain. I cherish every moment of this journey and I’m so honored to be recognized.”

In addition to his nominations, Eldredge is enjoying his latest Top 15 single with “Drunk On Your Love,” the second song from his sophomore album Illinois. Eldredge co-wrote every song on and co-produced the album that debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and #3 on the all-genre Hot 200 Chart upon its release. He has four consecutive #1 singles including the Platinum-certified “Don’t Ya,” Gold-certified “Beat of the Music,” which was the BMI most played country song of 2015, the Gold-certified “Mean To Me” and most recently, “Lose My Mind.” (courtesy BrettEldridge.com)
